How Valorant to ARC Raiders sensitivity conversion works
ARC Raiders’ horizontal turn speed depends on its FOV setting, unlike the Valorant model used here. These examples assume ARC Raiders at vertical FOV 70. A different ARC FOV needs the correction in its guide before a full-turn comparison is meaningful.
At equal DPI, multiply your Valorant setting by 51.43371. To reverse the conversion, divide by that factor. The number changes because the two games interpret sensitivity units differently; the distance travelled by your mouse is the quantity being matched.
Target sens = source sens × 51.43371 × source DPI ÷ target DPI
For example, 0.4 in Valorant at 800 DPI becomes approximately 20.57349 in ARC Raiders at 800 DPI. Both describe 40.82 cm for one complete horizontal turn before rounding. Keep the unrounded value in the tool if you plan to swap directions again.
| Valorant sens / DPI | ARC Raiders sens / DPI | Exact cm/360 |
|---|---|---|
| 0.4 / 800 | 20.57349 / 800 | 40.82 |
| 0.4 / 800 | 10.28674 / 1600 | 40.82 |
| 0.5 / 800 | 25.71686 / 800 | 32.66 |
ARC Raiders examples assume FOV 70, vertical.
The first two rows keep the source setup fixed and change only the target DPI. The third changes source sensitivity. This separates a hardware-DPI change from an in-game sensitivity change, which is useful when comparing two saved configurations.
Settings to check in each game
Valorant
Settings > General > Mouse > Sensitivity: Aim
Read Sensitivity: Aim rather than the Scoped Sensitivity Multiplier. Valorant’s relatively small decimal is normal for its 0.07 scale: copying a CS2 or Overwatch number directly changes your turn distance substantially. Keep the base aim setting and scope multiplier in separate notes so you can undo a change without losing your original setup.

ARC Raiders
Settings > Mouse and Keyboard > Horizontal Sensitivity
The horizontal model assumes vertical FOV 70. At a different ARC FOV, converting into ARC requires multiplying the default result by 70 divided by your FOV; converting out requires multiplying the default result by your FOV divided by 70. Apply only the correction for the direction you are using.

FOV and ADS: why these games can still feel different
A full-turn match does not promise equal movement across the screen. A different field of view, aspect ratio or camera perspective can alter the apparent speed of a target. Compare the same physical mouse travel first, then decide whether a different visual feel needs a personal adjustment.
ARC Raiders: the numbers assume FOV 70, vertical. This converts Horizontal Sensitivity (hipfire) only. ARC Raiders uses a fine scale (about 0.00136 degrees per count), so at the same DPI your ARC Raiders number is about 16.2x your CS2 number. Hipfire turn speed also follows Field of View (Graphics, 60 to 80): results assume the default 70, and the same number turns faster at a wider FOV. Converting to ARC Raiders, multiply the result by 70 / your FOV (x0.875 at FOV 80, x1.167 at FOV 60); converting from ARC Raiders, multiply the result by your FOV / 70 (x1.143 at FOV 80, x0.857 at FOV 60). Turn Mouse Smoothing off (Mouse and Keyboard tab, added in update 1.13.0) before testing your sens; with smoothing on, high polling rates can make you turn less than expected. Vertical Sensitivity and the zoom and scope multipliers are separate sliders and are not converted here.
Valorant and ARC Raiders also keep some aiming controls separate from their base horizontal setting. This tool does not calculate a monitor-distance match, a scoped multiplier, controller aim or vertical sensitivity. Apply the result to the named setting, then evaluate those other controls independently.
To verify the transfer, mark a starting point on the mousepad and move horizontally until the camera completes a turn. Repeat in both games with acceleration and game-specific modifiers accounted for. If space is limited, compare half-turns using half the reported cm/360 distance. Menu rounding can cause a small mismatch; a large mismatch calls for checking DPI, the input unit and game settings.
Valorant to ARC Raiders FAQ
How do I convert Valorant sensitivity to ARC Raiders?
At the same DPI, multiply your Valorant sensitivity by 51.43371. For two different DPIs, also multiply by source DPI divided by target DPI. This matches horizontal hipfire turn distance under the stated game settings.
What is 0.4 Valorant sensitivity in ARC Raiders?
0.4 at 800 DPI converts to approximately 20.57349 ARC Raiders sensitivity at 800 DPI, for 40.82 cm/360 before menu rounding. These are worked examples, not professional-player recommendations.
Does changing DPI change the result?
Yes. Enter the original DPI and New DPI separately. For linear scales, doubling the target DPI halves the target sensitivity. For an offset or non-linear slider, use the calculated result instead of halving the menu number.
Does this also convert FOV, ADS or scopes?
No. The tool matches horizontal hipfire rotation, not screen-space movement or zoom. ARC Raiders assumes FOV 70, vertical. Check each game’s notes before adjusting a scope or a character-specific control.
